People claiming to be Pan-Africanists are too comfortable throwing black South Africans under the bus to appease everyone from whites to African & other immigrants. If South Africans are a low priority at the talking stage, what happens when it becomes fully institutionalized?
When I speak to Nigerians personally, they never deny the allegations South Africans make online. They have a culture of publicly defending their people and privately chastising them. But, twe have "leaders" who throw the most vulnerable South Africans under the bus for clout.

It's difficult to listen to bigots who believe that they have a culture that needs special protection. Especially when we are trying to build a post Apartheid country.
Afriforum is lobbying in the US because they are not being listened to. The GNU partners are not being listened to. The US administration is not being listened to. The ANC has been a steamroller - EWC, NHI, BELA etc. Unity needs listening and flexibility.

He is a member of parliament. One of 400 people elected to run this country. Why are you downplaying this? I honestly don't understand why the DA isn't using this opportunity to unite behind South Africans to expose the failures by the ANC and extremist parties like the EFF/MK. He might not be part of the government of national unity but might very well be in the near future if the ANC decides to drop the DA and go with the EFF. Shame on you all for acting like your average South African are imbeciles and conspiracy theorists when the proof is there for all to see.

No. White people just need to grow up & get used to living in a majority black country. There's no need to create instability in South Africa because whites cannot get passed the fact that the majority of the electorate is black.
This is also a possibility for South Africa - change the internal borders giving Afrikaners also a Homeland, just like Zulus and Xhosa and of course Ramaphosa's tribe, the Venda. @SecRubio @joelpollak

You overestimate the irreplaceability of Afrikaner farmers. South Africa has more options than you realise. The aggressive approach that y'all have pushed Trump into will force SA to pursue those options more aggressively without the restrictions imposed by the US.
Trump's offer of asylum to Afrikaner farmers has taken South Africa by surprise. It is a wake-up call: your most valuable resources are not your minerals but rather your people and their skills. These, ultimately, are mobile and cannot be made to endure bad policies indefinitely.
