Design is beyond the tools sha. If you like use Microsoft Word – as long as it's aesthetically pleasing and functional, it's fine. Your knowledge of design and how you apply it is what makes you a designer. The tools are just a means to bring your creative vision to reality.

I cut down on my sleep in my 20s…I achieved some of my dreams but it affected my health. I passed out twice in front of my computer. Sleeping well doesn't equate to being lazy; it means you understand your body needs rest to operate at full capacity.
8 hours of sleep in your 20s?. It's either you' re dead or your dreams are. How can you be spending 1/3rd of your life sleeping?. What will you do when you're old and weak?. There's time for everything please. Cut down your sleep if you want your dreams to become a reality.

In the early days of my career, someone sent a watermarked JPEG logo to me and asked me to redesign the same logo and provide the vector version. I turned it down and asked her to go pay the original designer. What we need as a design community is unity and empathy.

It will take me a while to recover from the level of creativity I witnessed today. Designers from different parts of the world showcased their interpretations of a single brief, executing their ideas within a limited timeframe. My mind was blown over and over again
@Cannes_Lions in collaboration with @Adobe will be organizing a design competition at the Cannes Lions Festival in France next week. I have been invited to serve on this Jury as well. I look forward to contributing my expertise to the judging process. See you in France!
