On Saturday, the Bunker hosted a moving, inspiring talk by Ivor Perl and his granddaughter Lia in commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day. Today, we commemorate #HMD2025 on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
How incredibly special to have been joined by Ivor Perl and his granddaughter Lia at the @BofBBunker yesterday❤️ Lia delivered a beautiful talk about Ivor’s life, including his experience of Auschwitz and Dachau. It is so important that we listen to these stories. #HMD

We were saddened to hear of the passing of one of our wonderful volunteers, Patrick Manion, aged 98. A proud WW2 veteran, Patrick was a vital part of our Education team. We'll remember his kindness, humour & his amazing ability to engage children with his stories & songs #RIP
