Trezor and Ledger have had a fundamental and acceptable vulnerability, since 2018: A sophisticated attacker, WHO HAS PHYSICAL CONTROL of your device, can use a chipset reader to extract the seeds.
Use a PASSPHRASE, (3rd in Ledger) and hack is not possible.

Recovering from a rinse = hard
