I WON NAIC! Did it with a pretty standard list as I figured that was the way to approach the deck. Seriously though, it feels amazing to win an IC after all of these years. I couldn’t have done it without my family and friends, especially the Gamer’s Basement and Hunter Butler.

4/1744 at Portland regionals! Extremely happy with my list as the only thing that stopped me was from winning the event was some bad luck. I used a box of @ProcyonGamingCo for the whole event and only split 2 sleeves and Shoutout to @noahlesak for making this list perfevt #DDGWIN

Piloted JeliCuno to 1st at Toronto Regs! Deck felt amazing throughout the event and I wouldn’t change a card. S/O to the Gamer’s Basement as well as @ICheville and @C4_TCG for the deck the night before the tournament. Alakazam was the best card in the deck by far.

Top 4 at LAIC in São Paulo. Sad I didn’t make it to finals to get streamed but I’m definitely good with a top 4. Deck felt perfect and I think that I was pretty close to the perfect 60 for this tournament. S/O to the Gamers Basement for helping me the night before the event.

40th at my first master’s IC. Went 3-1-2 on the day with my only loss being sleep, so I can’t complain. Deck felt pretty good, definitely bdif, Avery and scream tail are stupid broken. 340/600 +$2k #DDGWin

Oh I forgot to say this but it’s extremely important, I want to give a special thanks to @jabbapen and my round 13 opponent Tyler Mathews for both honoring our gentleman’s agreements. Without these great players I don’t think I would’ve made it to top 4.

Top 8 at Peoria. Went 4-0-2 in Swiss and then lost in top 8 to @BennyBillinger playing Palk Intel after whiffing dte game 1 and drawing 2 fusions and prizing 1 in game 3. Shoutout to the Gamer’s basement and @ZachLesagePTCG for the testing. 380/400.

T64 here in Indy with one of the worst decks I’ve ever played, surprised I made it that far. I coin flipped between this and cpao the night before, clearly I lost the flip. Shoutout to my friends who joined me on this journey of a bad deck. It was fun tho. 30 896/600 #DDGWIN

Multiple things with Noah’s disqualification, unfair stamp was never moved to the top (certain people said this happened) as in before the shuffle, the deck was sufficiently randomized, the top card changed numerous times. Enhanced hammer and unfair stamp were the two at the top.

15th at my hometown regs! I think I made the perfect metacall as almost every top player played a deck that lost to tomb, lost matchup roulette day 2 though. Happy with the finish and s/o to the testing group and friends that supported me. #DDGWIN s/o @DuelSpec_PG 971/600 +$2k.

As a friend of the accused cheater on stream, I am aware that the action made looks like egregious cheating, I have never been more certain however that someone was not cheating. Noah only went into this event needing top 256 for his invite at 520 points, something that was.

Finished 10-2-3 for top 32 at San Antonio with a pretty standard Garde list. My 4th regional in masters so I can’t be sad with the result as I could’ve played better. Shoutout to @DeadDrawGaming for being an amazing sponsor and @ProcyonGamingCo for the sleeves. 1k 400/600 CP.

Top 16 at San Diego Regs. Disappointed with the result as I felt the deck could’ve been taken to a better finish. Misplaying in round 2 ruined my mental for the rest of the day. As always, S/O to the Gamer’s Basement. 80 CP. 980/400.

The fact that the difference between stoutland and iron hands is so immense is hilarious to me. For 1 more energy iron hands does 80 more, hits weakness, 20 more hp, and works on evolutions. Mentally deranged power creep.

Lost to alarm in round 10, they drop me, I ask them if they dropped me, they say no. Round 11 starts, I’m not on pairings. They say I get a bye and it was a mistake, so far I’m 1-1 on the day and haven’t pulled out cards from my deck box.

@sawyerhatemail I played against this guy in Sacramento, he was also trying to rush me, the judge literally gave him a warning for this btw. Also from what I’ve heard he’s banned in yu-gi-oh(?) if you play against him just look out and make sure you shuffle his deck or cut by random increments.

Went to cup week, played garde to every cup, could’ve played better in some scenarios. But all in all, I learned a lot and gained a fair amount of csp. 92 492/600, still not capped on cups.

Guaranteed even if he lost every round from that point on in the tournament. Now on a personal level, Noah is the only person who I could confidently say would not cheat, I know my word means nothing. But there is nearly no merit to him cheating when he has already locked up his.

All in all, Noah was wrongfully disqualified from the event and this eliminated him from getting his invite which was guaranteed due to his record of 8-0-1 because he only need t256 to get his invite (80 points) because he had 520 points prior to this event.

I know it’s asking for a lot, but if there’s anyway the judges could maybe re enter him back into the tournament just so he can get those 80 points that his 8-0-1 record got him, that would mean a lot to Noah and his friends, but I am aware it really does not look good.

@Smart_TCG "The Lugia VSTAR mirror is actually much more skill based than people think. It’s one of the most fun matchups to navigate as games can go 20-25 minutes if both Lugia players know what they are doing. Matchup is a war of attrition and resource management.".

Also a very special shoutout to GB (you know who you are), they all helped me prepare for this event and ultimately make it this far. But I definitely gotta give a huge thanks to @pokehawkeye for calling my deck bad like 6 separate times, his deck was clearly worse.

@twhitesell42 @HusDanny Tate, when the top card changes by one 3 times, unfair stamp becomes the 4th card, so your argument is completely wrong, and after he starts mashing horizontally and a large margin of cards are changed on top of the deck.

@panomics @SlimeyPTCG @allezliverpool @neo_erlandsson @fortenat8 I can’t really say much about it now, in my last year 7 rounds was still the majority of regionals. In my experience though day 2’ing masters has felt easier due to the increased capacity for bad variance whereas in seniors you could lose one round and then still be a bubble.
