Dr. Janelle Goetchus was a pioneer and visionary in providing health care to people experiencing homelessness. I hope you will read this obituary to see the power of a life lived well. I had the immense privilege of knowing and loving (they are the same) Janelle.
Dr. Goetcheus was a national leader and helped establish Health Care for the Homeless in DC. I had the honor of knowing her and working with her—and am profoundly saddened by her death. @BobbyWatts6 @NatlHCHCouncil

Every time I see something about #FlippingtheScript, I know it’s going to be incredibly powerful. Everyone in healthcare should hear these stories. To paraphrase the Bible, “You know not because you ask not.” INEXCUSABLE, but oh so common. Thank you for posting, @KellyMDoran!
Starting now -- Flipping the Script: A Teach-In for Healthcare Workers on Homelessness, Pregnancy, and Postpartum Health -- sponsored by the Health x Housing Lab @pophealthNYC and @hhconsortiumnyc #FlippingtheScript - tweet thread here. (1/)

I was honored to kick off the Opening of #CRCS2024, the first statewide symposium on Medical Respite care. We have 260 practitioners and patients here. There is great enthusiasm- we SOLD OUT, and unfortunately had to turn people away.
Day 1 of #CRCS2024 is off to an incredible start! We're in Sacramento with more than 260 of California's most passionate recuperative care providers, advocates, and partners in health to talk about the future of recuperative care in the state and beyond.
