No Tiger this week
I planned to tee it up this week, but I’m just not ready. I did my best to prepare, knowing it’s what my Mom would have wanted, but I’m still processing her loss. Thanks to everyone who has reached out. I hope to be at Torrey later in the week and appreciate the continued kindness since my Mom’s passing.

The buoy situation has been bad for years.
Unfortunately, it appears that 5 of the 6 nearby DART buoys for tsunamis are not operational. "To ensure early detection of tsunamis and to acquire data critical to real-time forecasts, NOAA has placed Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunami (DART®) stations at sites in regions with a history of generating destructive tsunamis." Buoy 42409 in the central Gulf apparently recorded the "shaking" as a series of deep water waves passed, but not tsunami waves. The other buoys all reporting "NO DATA".
