âKingdom hearts sucks at explaining itâs storyâ. Thatâs the POINT! KH is intentionally written in a vague way, because you have to piece together the story yourself. Literally every KH game has done this lol. KH is a series that runs on speculation and theories.

@KINGDOMHEARTS I think all KH3 fans should watch Radical Soda's critique on KH3. Whether or not you are blinded by nostalgia, check it out. I know the real KH fans won't accept this dissappointing game. Its fine to have high standards, especially after waiting so long.

For those who donât know, KH3 started development in 2013. And the games that came out out prior mainly served as Square testing the waters with new gameplay ideas. These would eventually make it into KH3 (shotlocks, style changes, etc.). Game was only in development for 6 years.

I seriously consider myself an expert on Kingdom Hearts lore. Iâve spent a ridiculous amount of hours analyzing the lore by rereading the Secret Reports & rewatching cutscenes multiple times, forming my own theories, etc. I could become a teacher at a school just to teach it.

@DerpyKey @VideoGamesNYC Itâs hilarious too because Kingdom Hearts 2 was in a very similar situation at its first launch. A ton of people found it disappointing, And over time it became the fan favorite of the franchise.

YESSSS. Keep in mind everyone that this is NOT going to be Kingdom hearts 4 just yet. Nomura confirmed the next KH game will not be a mainline title. It will probably serve as the âbridgeâ between KH3 and KH4 though.
Square Enix's Osaka team is hiring for it's next Kingdom Hearts title!.

Problem with this theory is that it would contradict MoMâs plans. MoM gave Luxu his Keyblade so that he would be able to use him as a Waypoint to travel to the future. Now if heâs actually Sora, then that makes this plan pointless. As he could just use Sora himself as a waypoint.

Honestly I think itâll be fine. Yes, Disney is a big part of Kingdom hearts. But KH at this point developed so many original characters & plots that I feel Disney doesnât always need to be represented if the series appears in crossovers.
