I will be surprised if Lance Leipold leaves Kansas right now. I believe him when he says he is happy at Kansas and hopes to be here for a long time. Maybe I am naive, but I fully expect Lance Leipold to be the head coach at Kansas until he retires.

I think KU fans are missing the big picture here. Yes, Lance Leipold has done a great job, but he’s not the only coach who could have done this. Again, he was handed Jalon Daniels, Devin Neal and others. I give Lance and his staff complete credit for taking advantage of that and

So just how many times is the NFL going to change things for the Bills? They don’t finish a game last season and the league wanted to play their playoff game at a neutral site so they didn’t have to go to Kansas City. Of course, it was the playoffs so the Bills failed to advance

The call gets all of the attention, but it’s rather meaningless. If you leave yourself vulnerable to a bad call, if that’s how you see it, you didn’t do enough to win the game. Coaches and players whine like they have no effect on the game. Go win the game in a way that one call

Kansas is doing things the right way. They had to tear down and replace the stadium instead of just doing a renovation. Some tried to tell me they couldn’t because the stadium is a war memorial. I disagreed. I’m so glad this is happening.

KU has to be realistic. The stadium should be around 40,000, no more. Make it a difficult ticket to get.
All of the talk about keeping Lance Leipold happy is getting old. He was handed a talented QB in Jalon Daniels. Where would this program be without Daniels? If Leipold is

Forest has signed too many players over the past two years. They needed to keep the core of players who fought to prevent relegation last season and slowly add in new players. Never use salary to determine who should play. Play the guys who give the best effort.

I don’t get to many games, but everything KU does should be geared towards recruiting the best players and making the fans (especially the big money donors) feel like a part of the program. I’m good with whatever does that. Winning takes care of everything.

Kansas was very good offensively in the bowl game last season without Andy Kotelnicki. Of course, the QB was Jason Bean and not Jalon Daniels. So, can this offense be fixed by replacing the person calling the plays and/or the QB? It seems like one or both of those things needs to

There is no way Steve Cooper should lose his job after that performance. Continue with this lineup for the most part going forward. Just because you spent money on some players doesn’t mean they must play if they don’t have the effort. Keep Williams and Yates in the lineup.

Bill James and some others have done some great work. However, baseball analytics has gone too far the other way. There is a human part of the game that makes up the results. Math people hate it but you can’t put numbers to everything even when they tell you that you can.

It’s hilarious seeing tweets saying Kansas has the wrong players on the court. Bill Self is a hall of fame coach with a national championship who watches this team every day in practice. I sometimes wonder why certain guys are playing but don’t question those decisions.

A downtown stadium is great, but the Royals didn’t even know what they wanted. It was an awful campaign from the Royals. Take some time and think through this and let’s try it again with a reduced tax with the Chiefs in Kansas.
