We have had extreme weather and natural disasters my whole life! The climate is not changing, what are seeing are natural planetary and solar cycles. We just need to learn how to control and handle natural disasters as they come...and to accurately predict them.

Jefferson Davis was the Senator and a House Member from Mississippi before becoming President. Keep in mind that if Davis wasn't a President, then neither was Lincoln. Neither was President of a "United" states.

Regarding the shutdown, I agree that Trump is trying to meet Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats halfway. It's pathetic that she can't do the same, especially considering the people who aren't getting their paychecks because of it. Too bad they can't alter the way it's shut down.

How about cutting out student loans completely! Colleges need to cut their tuitions and other fees so the middle class can afford it without loans. There needs to be more work/study programs like there is at the graduate level.

I worked in the environmental business with my dad until he died in 1995. It was 1993 that Al Gore came along and ignorantly claimed that global warming is man made. It's planetary and solar cycles, i.e., Milankovitch cycles, sun spots, etc., that are natural cycles.
