When I first moved out of the college dorms, I slept on an air mattress for 6 months. That mattress had been in our family for ~20yrs. It finally started leaking when I moved to med school. Movers came today. I’m on a new air mattress... the old one was comfier. 😔

Bad idea to continue experiments and troubleshoot new protocols less than 3 weeks from graduating, while also packing for the move and attempting to close on a new home mortgage and onboarding for residency. 💩 has been hitting the 🪭 over & over again. 😭 #academia #research

I’m too old to be a student, according to @BankofAmerica, so they’re charging me monthly maintenance fees while I’m already at the poorest point of my life. No one should ever be too old to pursue further education!!! #changeyourpolicy
