The Mary Doctor Fine Arts Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Mary Doctor, an astute Charlotte area business owner and a tremendous supporter of young people and Blumenthal Performing Arts. Up to two Charlotte Region, high school seniors are selected each year to receive a scholarship of up to $40,000! The Gordon Hay Scholarship Fund is a merit-based scholarship established in memory of Gordon Hay, an organizational development professional, who was passionate about transformational change through authentic engagement of people’s hearts and minds in the strategic work of the business. He believed passion and fire from within fueled exceptional results. A committee selects up to two exceptional students, pursuing a degree in a non-performance area of theatre, to receive a one-time award in the amount of up to $10,000 each year.
