A variety of speakers will discuss the importance of getting help, overcoming the stigma, and promoting available resources specific to first responders. This is an all-day event at Grace Life Church in Pevely Wed. (12th) 🏀 It's Senior Night for the Lady Jays of Jefferson High School as the JV/V teams host Crystal City starting at 5:30

We are getting down to the nitty-gritty this week. Big Conference matchups loom ahead as teams jockey for favorable seeding in their respective Districts. Postseason play is just a few weeks away! Here's where I'll be this week: Wed. (5th) 🏀 A triple header of hoops at Jefferson High School. The varsity Lady Jays take on Oak Ridge at 4:30 followed by the JV/V boys squads hosting Perryville Thurs. (6th) 🏀 The Jefferson JV/V girls are right back at it as they welcome the Bismarck Indians at 5:30 Friday (7th) 🏀 Crystal City JV/V boys come to Jefferson for a Friday night fracas! Tipoff is at 5:30 Sat. (8th) 🏀? Awaiting confirmation but there may be two very important ABA games this Saturday. More details to follow!

(22nd) 🏀 the Jefferson College Vikings men & women welcome St. Louis CC to the Fieldhouse starting at 5 Thurs. & Fri. (23rd & 24th) 🏀 The 11th Annual Hoops for Hope Games, now officially (and appropriately) renamed Andrea's Hoops for Hope. Jefferson Boys & girls JV/V squads will participate in these games with our friends from Herculaneum. The games will tip off at 5:30 on both nights. This is a very special and emotional event for our R7 community. Please join us, won't you?

(13th) 🏀 P.A. for the JV/V Jefferson High School boys as they welcome Arcadia Valley, 5:30 Sat. & Sun 🏀 (14th & 15th) P.A. for the American Basketball Association'' #BeAlive weekend of League Games, focusing on curbing school violence and empowering the next generation. There will be 5 games featuring the St Louis Spirits, Missouri Capitals, River City Gamblers. 402 Elite, Peoria Pitbulls, and Nashville Aces. It starts at 2 pm on both days at Ritnour High School.

*Festus wins the Class 4, District 1 Championship. They will travel to play Gateway STEM next week. *Jackson wins the Class 6, District 1 Championship. They will travel to Kirkwood next week. *Crystal City advances to the Class 1, District 1 Championship game, which will be at St. Vincent.
