It’s Racial Justice Sunday! A day when churches across denominations focus on the need to oppose racism and pursue racial justice. This year’s theme is ‘Coat of Many Colours’ so our students have been busy making theirs! @CofE_Cov @Cov_DBE

Six sixth-form students took part in the Lessons From Auschwitz project, attending a seminar on Holocaust victims and visiting Auschwitz 1 on Feb 6. They reflected on the tragic loss of 6 million lives and concluded with a memorial service. #NeverForget 🕯️ @HolocaustUK @HMD_UK

We were particularly blessed to have Paul, Sue and a number of the original student cohort contribute greatly to the service by providing us with their memories, encouragement, testimony and handing on of an engraved baton to a group of our youngest students @CofE_Cov

The service included the commissioning of Mrs. Henden as Headteacher by Rev. April Gold (The Diocesan Director of Education) preaching from Pastor Luke Williams (ex-student and Assistant Pastor at CLM Church) and rededication liturgy written by our Chaplain @CofE_Cov @Cov_DBE

Our Diamond Anniversary service had wonderful music including our different school choirs, worship band, gospel choir and Mr. Chris Howard (Head of Music 1976 - 2005) leading on the Cathedral organ @CovCathedral @CofE_Cov

Yesterday we celebrated our Diamond Anniversary with a special Coventry Cathedral service. The Cathedral was packed as we welcomed year 7-11 (sixth form had a livestream back to school), our whole staff body and special guests.@CovCathedral @CofE_Cov

We were hugely blessed to have a special ringing of the Coventry Cathedral bells yesterday, for all our students, staff and special guests as they left our Diamond Anniversary service. It included three of our students Zack, Oliver and Noah! @CovCathedral @CofE_Cov
