@SeattleDom_ @SeahawksFRA @cmikesspinmove Minimum of 6 seconds for the play to start and end. So now you've got 16 seconds with the game on the line to clear the pile, spot the ball, line up, get the play in, and snap it? Yeah sounds like a recipe for success.

@SeattleDom_ @SeahawksFRA @cmikesspinmove If he gets stuffed and there's a pile, odds of them getting another play off are really low. Even if they do, it's gonna be right down the middle into Wilfork. It was a tough situation. The logic of throwing it was sound.

@brgridiron Seahawks won 10 games in year 1 with a new head coach and has a young, talented roster. If an East Coast team did that, it's all they would be talking about.

@SeahawksFRA @cmikesspinmove I doubt they get 2 runs off in 22 seconds. It's tough to get all those guys up and back in formation for a 2nd snap. Even if they do, it's gonna be rushed. That was an elite defensive front that season. The pass if incomplete, would have forced the Pats to play it differently

@SeahawksFRA @cmikesspinmove So your logic is to run it into the loaded box, get stuffed, and take a time out. And then come back and run two more times in 22 seconds? Throwing there was the right call. Props to Butler for making a great play and Belichick for preparing his defense so well.

@d1cky772_ @primetimecar Yeah I agree, but if Kuechly isn't first ballot, Wagner probably won't end up being either. Both should be.

@reubenTjoseph @CorbinSmithNFL 4th in cap space for 2026. Is it possible the plan has been to push cap hits into that year? Seahawks have the most cap flexibility in the league with the most non-guaranteed $ owed this year.

@BrockHuard @MoveTheSticks @TheMikeSalk @Seahawks @Flash_Garrett Macdonald has proven he doesn't need an elite edge to get pressure on the QB. It would be a huge risk to trade that much for a 29 year old. Also, I doubt Garrett sees Seattle as a contender as they currently stand.

@DK_Wookiee1 @TheRoller59 @hawkblogger 37 and 73 for Geno and 50. That's like a late 2nd round equivalent. That would make sense. I really doubt Pete is gonna want to draft and develop a rookie. I could also see Pete wanting Sam Darnold

@DK_Wookiee1 @TheRoller59 @hawkblogger I think Geno is at most worth a 3rd because of age and the fact that whoever trades for him has to probably extend him

@TheRoller59 @hawkblogger Dead cap shouldn't factor into your decision since it's gonna hit the cap no matter what. You're gonna see a ton of dead cap in Seattle this year when they start cutting guys left and right. But the cap space will go up. You should look at cap savings only.

@DK_Wookiee1 @TheRoller59 @hawkblogger You think a 3rd would get that done?

@TheRoller59 @hawkblogger It's a sunk cost so you don't factor it in when making the decision to cut or trade a player. Ex: Nwosu's 2025 cap hit is $21.2m. $13m is guaranteed to hit the cap (unless they post 6/1 cut). If they cut him before 6/1, $8.2m is freed up. So you would focus on the cap savings
