You can tell they only replaced Roku for Kyoshi because of all the memes. It makes zero sense story wise as Roku was not only the previous Avatar but was partially responsible for the beginning of the war.
Looks like they changed the Avatar Roku Shrine scene with an Avatar Kyoshi scene, but wow, it was incredible
