@hirohito1490 @BrolyShogun @30inchsword Black-American ancestry doesn't come from a single tribe like these guys, nor a single region but also places like Madagascar & Angola-- but even then not even a single continent (Europe, N. America) You're closer to a Fillipino than we are to them.
Depending on your proxy, about 8% of BA ancestry on average is Native-American related. That 23& Me and Ancestry struggle to find appropriate proxies, does not mean the ancestry disappears, it means you should take the hint from NAs and stop giving out your DNA.

@Huyte_Powder_ @DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing Doesn't matter what data is posted, you'll find another complaint. Cope I guess.

@bratzdesi @DublingreenB @bunnytxi @YungPrxda @darvidosiris They don't know that high cheekbones and prominent cheekbones are two different things.

@DublingreenB @YungPrxda @bunnytxi @bratzdesi @darvidosiris You shouldn't conflate looking like an ethnicity with looking "good". If BAs look "better" to you that's personal taste, but this isn't about attractiveness. Thanks for posting Whoopi though. She's a beaut.

@DublingreenB @bunnytxi @bratzdesi @YungPrxda @darvidosiris --Anthony Joshua is mixed. --The Beauty Queen is a literal beauty queen, and shows little overlap with most West Africans. --Biggie Smalls is not Black-American --Leslie Jones shows more overlap with Melanesians. What has this proven?

@Huyte_Powder_ @DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing It's not my fault or responsibility you're not familiar with the subject. You have a good one.

@Huyte_Powder_ @DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing If you have to gpt terms, maybe you shouldn't be discussing this subject? I've already provided the source. "Projecting zygoma" is their term for high cheekbones---they discuss it for East Asians/Natives, but specifically state only the Khoisan have that trait.

@Huyte_Powder_ @DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing We're speaking about averages, we're not debating ethnicities/ individuals. Anybody can have high cheekbones, the question is whether it's typical for a population. Khoisan are THE notable exception to high cheekbones & so are their mixed descendants, as this paper notes.

@Huyte_Powder_ @DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing Most of your sources cite "prominent" not high. People confuse the two. We know what the average West/Central African looks like, they don't have high cheekbones. Moreover they have retracted cheekbones, like the study mentioned. But yes, they have prominent cheekbones.

@Huyte_Powder_ @DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing Here it is. But I dont disagree that Africans (a lot at least), have PROMINENT cheekbones, they do. But prominent is not the same as high or broad. Recessed cheekbones come up often in discussions of the "race" of Ancient Egyptians.
@bunnytxi @bratzdesi @YungPrxda @DublingreenB @darvidosiris Africans have retracted/recessed cheekbones--anyone who's studied physical anthropology knows this. Europeans are intermediate, and East Asians/Native-Americans have the broadest. You can check yourself. Black-Americans have cheekbones which are comparable to Inuits.

@bunnytxi @bratzdesi @YungPrxda @DublingreenB @darvidosiris The only African population that comes anywhere near him is Sudan--and those are mixed people. There is a clear non-African and frankly Native-American aspect to his look. Few Africans compare.

@bunnytxi @bratzdesi @YungPrxda @DublingreenB @darvidosiris Morris Chestnut and cheekbone differences. And nothing else. Now you want to change the subject.

@DrethewiseAOA @mamajersey1 @uyolweth @nahjegetsbucks @CamThaKing What's the group of people? High cheekbones aren't endemic to West or Central Africa. Broad cheekbones are population specific to East Asians/Native-Americans. And "slanted almond eyes" isn't a trait, but a vague description.

RT @NormalVirginian: They didn’t have to "proclaim to be" Indian. They knew of their Indian ancestry, acknowledged it, and brought it up…
