Bitlight Wallet Upgraded to v0.0.12.1 We are pleased to inform everyone that Bitlight Wallet has reached a new milestone: Bitcoin mainnet. This progress marks Bitlight Wallet as a fully functional Bitcoin wallet and is our final step towards the RGB protocol mainnet. The RGB protocol is not a blockchain, so strictly speaking, there is no such thing as an RGB mainnet. However, we must work together with Dr. Maxim @dr_orlovsky and our partners at the LNP/BP Association @lnp_bp to complete the audit of the RGB code and ensure the security of RGB assets before pushing the RGB protocol to the mainnet. This choice is a responsible approach for the Bitlight Labs @BitlightLabs community, Bitlight Wallet users, and all participants in the RGB ecosystem. As Bitlight Wallet supports the #Bitcoin mainnet, we will launch a Bitcoin mainnet UTXO creation task. Creating UTXOs is a prerequisite for creating RGB20 assets, so we hope to guide everyone in preparing for the RGB mainnet launch through this task. The wind is approaching, and the RGB ship is about to set sail. Make Bitcoin Smart. #RGB #LightningNetwork #BitlightLabs #BitlightWallet #MakeBitcoinSmart #MBS

Bitlight Wallet has been updated to V0.0.12.5, now supporting the unlocking of RGB UTXOs. You can now unlock unused RGB UTXOs. After unlocking, the BTC assets in these UTXOs will be transferred to your BTC balance. Currently, UTXOs that are already bound to assets or have been through a change process cannot be unlocked. This functionality will be supported in future versions. Make Bitcoin Smart. #RGB #Bitcoin #BitlightLabs

@BridgetSny19191 Not really. All you need to do is to create a UTXO to prepare for the RGB mainnet. Please kindly follow the guidance video.

Bitlight Wallet Upgraded to v0.0.11 With the RGB Protocol entering beta v0.11, we have upgraded the Bitlight Wallet to v0.0.11 to accommodate the new RGB asset data structure. We will be sunsetting our backend services for Bitlight Wallet v0.0.10 on August 5, 2024, and any RGB test assets you have created using Bitlight Wallet v0.0.10 will be reset. Google Chrome will automatically update the Bitlight Wallet extension. If it does not auto-update, you can update the Bitlight Wallet extension through the following link: The recent harsh market conditions have not dampened our relentless commitment to building. Bitlight Labs remains dedicated to bringing disruptive innovations to the Bitcoin ecosystem and the crypto industry based on the RGB Protocol and the Lightning Network. We are preparing for the mainnet launch of RGB, as well as the accompanying asset issuance and trading infrastructure. When the market recovers, the RGB Protocol will lead the way in true innovation based on Bitcoin-native smart contracts. "And #RGB said, let there #Bitlight"

Bitlight Wallet Update to v0.0.11.0 and Reset of RGB Testnet Assets To align with RGB v0.11 beta6 and prepare for the mainnet launch of RGB v0.11, Bitlight Wallet will be updated to v0.0.11.0. Due to changes in the RGB invoice structure, we will reset the RGB test assets on the testnet. This means that any RGB testnet assets you have created or currently hold will be reset. Please note that this reset will not affect your completed task points or your tBTC balance. You will still be able to create new RGB testnet assets based on Bitlight Wallet v0.0.11.0.

Announcement: Bitlight Wallet v0.0.10.2 Update Thank you all for testing and providing feedback on Bitlight Wallet. Your input has been invaluable to the RGB ecosystem and Bitlight Labs. Based on your feedback, we have promptly released the Bitlight Wallet v0.0.10.2 update. N.B. Most issues stem from the characteristics of Bitcoin Testnet3. We recommend interacting during off-peak hours to avoid most problems. 1. Issue: Unable to create an invoice. Solution: This was due to an abnormal response from the mempool API. We have switched to the public API. 2. Issue: Unable to create RGB20 assets. Solution: This was caused by duplicate tickers or seals. We have clarified the error message. 3. Issue: Errors when re-importing RGB20 contracts. Solution: Re-importing contracts no longer causes errors. We automatically detect duplicates and trim any surrounding spaces. 4. Issue: Slow transaction confirmation due to insufficient default fees. Solution: The transaction fee estimation on Testnet3 was inaccurate. We now default to the fast fee rate instead of the average rate. Additionally, we have simplified product messaging to avoid displaying complete backend errors. Most issues can now be resolved by reading the error prompts. "And #RGB said, let there #Bitlight"

Bitlight Wallet v0.0.10 Bug Report Thank you for your valuable feedback while using and testing Bitlight Wallet. We have compiled common bug reports and responded as follows: 1. Issue: Unable to create invoice, button turns grey - Solution: This is due to the mempool API returning exceptions, preventing the retrieval of the minimum fee for receiving RGB assets. We have replaced the mempool API with a public API to temporarily resolve this issue. We will continue to monitor this problem. 2. Issue: Slow, average, and fast gas fee values are the same - Solution: This is also due to the mempool API returning exceptions. 3. Issue: "public issue error: the output is not owned by user" - Solution: We are investigating the cause of this bug. We will attempt to reproduce this issue in our backend testing environment. If you encounter similar problems, please report them to us. 4. Issue: “runtime error: load error: unable to parse TOML file - TOML parse error at line 1, column 1 | 1 | | ^ missing field `generator” - Solution: We are investigating the cause of this bug. We will attempt to reproduce this issue in our backend testing environment. If you encounter similar problems, please report them to us. 5. Issue: “public issue error: sqlx error: sqlx error: error returned from database: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "fungible_asset_ticker_key"” - Solution: This indicates that the RGB asset ticker you created duplicates an existing asset. Please try defining another asset ticker. We will simplify this error message in future versions. 6. Issue: Asset quantity shows as 0 after creating RGB assets - Solution: We are investigating the cause of this bug. We will attempt to reproduce this issue in our backend testing environment. If you encounter similar problems, please report them to us. 7. Issue: Transaction failed due to insufficient transaction fee - Solution: Currently, the testnet is overly congested, leading to high transaction fees. Please try again when the Bitcoin testnet is less busy or prepare more transaction fees.
