Friday, Saskatchewan Synod in convention elected Rev. Dr. Ali Tote as the successor to this retiring Bishop! Ali served brilliantly as my Assistant for two years. I could not have asked for a better partner in ministry. I could not be happier for the synod. Thanks be to God!

About 430 of us had the opportunity to meet on the call with the prime minister yesterday. Appreciated that faith leaders are part of the conversation. And to hear faith leaders both express the concerns of faith communities and affirm that we pray every week for our leaders.
Today, I met with leaders of faith groups from across the country. They spoke about all that they’ve been doing during the pandemic - they’ve stepped up to help their neighbours and serve their communities, and they’ve been doing it with fewer resources than usual.
