Objects transfer their momentum to the Player upon jumping off of them.
The momentum value also gets stored for a couple of frames after stopping to widen the time frame that grants maximum velocity

So far the player slides around corners when hitting their head or feet
Now, if the player would get crushed by less than half of their hitbox being between objects, the player moves out of the way instead, if there's room

The player character can grab a ledge and roll through a gap above it:
If the button presses are just right, the ledge grabbing state will be skipped and the player rolls through without losing speed
