@FalkoResearch You are right. It is a phenomena in Sweden called “pipkrake” and is a result from when moist in the tempered ground is rising to a higher, colder layer, form ice crystals and when growing upwards create “pillars”. The corresponding phenomena on old branches is called “håris”.

I’m happy to share the news that our latest paper has been published in PNAS.
En forskargrupp ledd av forskare vid Göteborgs universitet har använt en unik kombination av metoder för att kartlägga mekanismen bakom cellkommunikation. Resultaten kan öka förståelsen för den underliggande mekanismen bakom typ 2-diabetes.
