It is indeed a landmark moment for the Rights of Indigenous People’s Movement. The Indigenous Peoples, the Māoris fought first bravely for the Wanghanu River for over 800 years to ensure that the River had legal rights for the first time and this is now followed that the mountains too have it too in New Zealand 🇳🇿 as well @UN4Indigenous @CSORG @GhoshAmitav
