There are some photographers I've seen, especially on here, I'm going to eventually reach out to regarding purchasing prints from. If you sell prints, either through a site, or personally, leave a link in the comments. Enough, and I'll pin this so others can find you as well

There's always something special about abandoned farms. A time that once was, a simpler time. #abandonded #losttotime #landscapephotography

One of my favorite preserves. Imperfect Reflections. Nature is Imperfect, it's chaotic at times, but splitting this picture down the middle vertical, the sides are close to mimicking each other, and the reeds and island protrude the reflection. Imperfectly perfect

Battle between light and dark. Frantically, I chased composition to incorporate the sunrays. We all have dark days, days where it seems the storm will never end. This scene felt that way, as if you wete in your darkest moment chasing after the light. I edited it to emphasize that

I didn't notice this until editing. What does the white part of the cloud look like to you? I'm interested to see what your imagination sees.

All to ourselves. Pulling up to Lake Michigan, the sky faded into the lake perfectly as if you were staring at the edge of the earth. The colors matched perfectly, and the seagulls were enjoying the calm water. These few found a spot and had it all to themselves.

Taken during the arctic freeze in January. Brutal wind chill, -20 F temperatures, and a photography passion brought these photos to you. The warmer waters created this low-lying fog making opportunities only seen a few times a year.

Flashback Friday. I took this in 2022. But never posted it. I do remember that after this shot, I was taking my filter system off the camera and dropped my step-down ring in the boulders I was set up on.Let's hear some of the mishaps you've done while out, in the comments.

The River Red. After taking quite a few photos of St. Jo Lighthouse, I turned my attention to the smaller, abstract patterns. This is the melting ice shelf reflecting the ambient light from sunset. Purposely underexposed to emphasize the reflection. #Abstract #Reflections

Although there were mostly clear skies, there was a bank of atmosphere on the horizon over the lake. The sun was setting, and the atmospheric conditions started to illuminate. I knew where I wanted to get to, but getting there in time was the challenge. I made it just in time.

Weathered. The wind was blowing pretty hard. It was pretty cold and the snow was light. It moved across the field creating a photo opportunity I couldn't pass up. #woodlandphotography #winter #landscapephotography

Thoughts? This isn't a composite image, this is all one photo. But I did edit it to look like this. #monochrome #blackandwhitephotography #FineArtAmerica #fineartphotography

Three for Thursday. I lined up to get this shot of the marker light, and out of the channel came some brave souls heading out to fish. I thought it made for a pretty good story. #monochrome #foggy #seascape #landscapephotography

Simple, abstract, black and white. Part of a larger cascading waterfall, finding different areas to focus on changes everything. #monochrome #blackandwhitephotography #longexpo #abstractexpressionism #abstractphotography

Into the abyss. Running around like a headless chicken, hoping conditions didn't change until I got my shots. I tried to take full advantage of the fog. The weather app had clearing sky's coming, little did I know this would last all day.

This one of those photos I've often visioned never got.... till now. Luck and perseverance paid off. The fog was so thick that it completely changed the landscape. This gave me a feeling of a pathway to Heaven. #blackandwhitephotography #monochrome
