@LissaKEvans
I've always loved her but fell IN love with her when Graham Norton said he'd been a huge fan of hers for years and she replied "well you could have had me on the show any time you wanted to".
16 Dec 2006 - Nottingham Forest 1 Leyton Orient 3. One of of the best away days I ever had with Orient and one of the most extraordinary performances for our first away win of the season after being promoted. If they didn't have a scoreboard I wouldn't have believed it
30 years ago today I went to Orient for the first time. 914 games, 370 wins, 308 defeats, 3 promotions, 4 relegations at 74 different grounds later, it's probably not the worst decision I ever made
Manager Ryan Maxwell has gone to great lengths to publicise
@walthamstowfc
's first pre-season friendly against
@HeybridgeSwifts
at Wadham Lodge next saturday, he and the new players deserve a decent turn out for what should be a competitive fixture
Absolutely dreadful news about Chris Bart-Williams, I'm gutted. Great player and lovely guy. Made his debut against Tranmere at 16 when I was a ball boy. Before the game Tranmere manager John King if I knew who he was and I said he was a YTS lad
BTW, he had an 'unremarkable playing career'. What toss. 16 years, over 500 appearances, captain at 3 clubs and popular with fans wherever he went. But of course if you didn't play in the Premiership it doesn't count!
Went to see
@pangoeswrong
for the umpteenth time since the first production 10 (!) years ago. Still as brilliant as ever. Travelling home happy with my bag of
@mischiefcomedy
merch
What a great end to
@walthamstowfc
's season, 4-2 win away at one of the strongest teams in the division. It didn't clinch a promotion or play off place or save us from relegation but it's what its all about, pure enjoyment
Ah, 31 years ago I lied to my parents I would go to Roots Hall "with some friends from school" and went to my first midweek away game. I had no friends at school, let alone Orient supporting ones!
Have only been to 3
@leytonorientfc
away games in 3 years but between them I've totted up 1700 miles. Obligatory selfie in front of Emlyn Hughes' statue in Barrow
Especially with everything that has happened this week, I am proud of the fact that
@walthamstowfc
supports the campaign to rid society of racism on Wear Red Day
@SRTRC_England
This is hugely disappointing, not least in light of what the team have achieved over the last few years, doing Orient proud. Really poor to just walk away from them. I'll still be supporting them and hope they continue to be a team you can follow with pride
💬 "We believe there is a huge opportunity in the local area to open doors for female players to become part of our new set-up."
The club has issued a statement regarding women and girl's football, as we look to take it in an exciting new direction.

So that is my 6th Walthamstow season over. Maybe even the most enjoyable (although maybe I think that at this time every year!). A full set of badges, sadly impossible to get a full set of programmes. And would have been a full set of games if it wasn't for a small hospital stay!
What a night for
@walthamstowfc
, just going to a shoot out for the third time in four games over the space of 10 days is incredible enough but winning all three was pure magic
In a miserable year when I've spent most of it being able to do bugger all I'm very proud to have produced this for a great club. Can't wait to do more.

7 May 2005 - Leyton Orient v Mansfield
@andyscott8421
given a much deserved guard of honour on the last game of the season, having had to retire mid-season due to a heart problem. Proud that his now a patron of
@CRY_UK
There's a reason I take photos even when there isn't anything immediately obviously significant happening - like this
@officialswifts
substitute coming on tonight
Find it hard to begrudge a team like
@MaldonTiptreeFC
having their success when they come and play decent football and earn their win. Hope the draw favours them in the next round, they deserve it
My weekend is unlikely to get any better. French friend has just asked me why, at the daily No.10 briefing, they keep saying they are looking for green shoes, they think there are green shoes and that it's too early to say how big the green shoes are
Disappointment but not embarrassment. Terrific effort from
@walthamstowfc
to hold Isthmian Premier
@HornchurchFC
to just 2-0 and create scoring chances despite being down to 10 men for most of the game. Full set of photos
Just saw my favourite thing of 9 years at the Fringe, one of my favourite comedians bursting in to tears and unable to speak on stage. So happy to be there to see
@lauralexx
awarded Gilded Balloon's Comedians' Comedian of the 2019 Fringe at the end of her brilliant gig
King replied "well we won't have to worry too much about him". He scored after about 12 minutes and celebrated right in front of me (I'm the one not on the pitch cos I was a good boy. Thanks for some great memories Bartman
Was talking about how it was difficult to paint subbuteo figures because they all have 70s haircuts and clothes when I had a recollection and a bright idea. The Badger family (and my granddad's best friend Brush) at the 1979 FA Cup Final.
Not saying there is a problem with FA Full Time, but it is claiming that the top Essex Senior League goalscorer this season is Scott Piggott, with 92 goals in 13 appearances (four as sub)
29 May 1999 - Orient 0 Scunthorpe 1. Possibly the worst play off final ever to be played. The Wembley build up was better than the day itself but I am still glad I got to see the Os at the old stadium, even though we lost our 100% record there
Many unsung volunteers in non-league. Everyone notes how good the
@walthamstowfc
programmes are, few probably realise the effort that goes into regularly producing them to such a high standard. Many can barely produce one, let alone do such a good job of it
