Well, about that...my pronouns for those that insist on using them are Your Excellency/El Presidente

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom No, it's plainly laid out in the debate previously for the civil rights act that the 14A was passed in lieu of.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom Plenty there too, but not as much as they realized 9 years ago that the GOPe was never going to do what they ran on. Lots of times they're wrong but not bc they're blindly following the narrative.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom It does happen on occasion. Admitting your L's is the only path to personal growth which is why so many leftists are overgrown toddlers.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom That case had nothing to do with immigration and while the same phrase was used, isn't applicable. This is why the court looks at legislative history. I don't see this court upholding birthright citizenship.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom No, they explicitly excluded it with the phrase...and under the jurisdiction thereof. The 14A granted citizenship only to freed slaves. Native Americans, obviously born in the United States, weren't granted citizenship until 1926 under separate legislation. So you know squat.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom You don't know the legislative history of the 14A obviously. There is no basis for birthright citizenship.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom Unless the court is interested in putting each branch back in their proper box. Just like the executive shouldn't be in essence making law, neither should Congress be micromanaging the operation of the govt.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom due to the legislative history. But we won't truly have our limited govt back until Wickard v Filburn is overturned.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom Reading comprehension is tough for you which calls into doubt your legal assertions. It will pass Congress on party lines, but it will be the overwhelming number of things Trump wants done. The left has no power to stop it.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom In the end they can't stop the president from reviewing expenditures. And then Congress will pass the overwhelming majority of these changes bc the reconciliation can't be filibustered. It's moot. Plus many of these will be tossed by higher courts which will limit this nonsense.

@smilerz91 @richardrahl1086 @WalshFreedom I rest my case. You're unpersuadable. It's a certainty he's meeting with others. But it's moot. All this will get done & Democrats will have firmly planted themselves in opposition to 70% of the public. (Yesterday's CBS poll)
