Most of all, I will remember his kindness towards me. He always called me Bill and I affectionately called him Johnny Doolitle. A name that we always laughed about. Wishing we could have one last ride to Watsonville together, so he could tell me I'm going too fast again.

I will always remember our talks in my office, as he always had kind words for my Mom and Dad. I will remember the love he had for his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his entire huge family. I will remember his big smile and amazing head of hair.

How do you put into words what a man I knew since I was born meant to me? I'm going to try....Howard Kaeding was bigger than life to me as a little boy running to see him after the races at San Jose Speedway. He always had time for me, even if I was a pain in the ass. Cont.

@braddoty18 Thanks for the shout out....but I do have to correct you in the fact that I was a published photographer in Speedsport, Racing Wheels and Western Racing News. It was more of a hobby that I did from 1985-1988 before joining the Bob Miller/BK Racing team in 1988.

@tonybrucejr @BobbyGerould Trust me, I'm not bashing SGA. I think he is the best player out there. But he does get a favorable whistle, which he has earned in my opinion by not complaining on every whistle like some floppers out there.
