I know I was supposed to do this a month ago and still haven’t done this yet. So let me put out the plan in public so that at least someone can execute it. Take the Xiao board (ESP32, but with battery charging and usb in built) Connect the battery to the xiao board (so that the ESP will work even when input power is not there. Connect the VIN of the xiao board into any input pin on the board over a voltage divider. (VIN goes to 0 when input power is cut off). That’s your trigger to notify the server of power failure. Simple :)

This reminded me of a really funny interview experience of mine. Read on 😬 I go for an interview, mid-senior level. I was asked to wait in the lobby. I could see that there are multiple other candidates also waiting. After maybe 15min, my name was called and I went in. The interviewer in 5min told me, hey I don’t know how your resume was shortlisted for this role, we are looking for a junior candidate, you are over qualified for this role we are hiring. I smiled at him, thanked him for being honest and said, at least you told me this in 5min than continuing on with the interview. I walk out of the office, got into my car and was driving back. I get a call from the HR, asking, sir, have you left the building? I was like, yes, I was told that my resume wasn’t a fit for the role he was hiring. Then comes the shocker… The HR says, sir, I sent you to the wrong room!!! 🤣🤣🤣 PS: I said, it’s fine, I take this as a sign that I shouldn’t be taking this job. I was already unsure about whether I should switch companies now, and now I have my answer 😬 PPS: It was Citibank hiring for AVP role 🤭

Put in a 1.2k Ohm resistor instead of 1k Ohm resistor into a circuit hoping for… “seh lenge thoda sa” because I somehow missed to order the 1k resistor 🤪 But no, as a result, the processor only receives 2.6v instead of 3.3v and hence won’t work. 🤭😬 #AIHardwareBuild
