While we should be building immutable options, it doesn't "fix" it. The supply of fiat coins will dwarf the supply of immutable ones in the near to mid future. Even if they were equal, fiat coins can still be coerced offchain to only support 1 fork and immutable ones would not have the proper incentivize to effectively oppose that fork.

Uniswap V4 hooks that use onchain gas fee oracles to set swap fees will unlock cross-chain liquidity. When gas fees are too high for cross-chain arb to be profitable, the V4 hook automatically reduces swap fees. @gasdotnetwork + @Uniswap
