@gregisenberg I track numbers almost daily on Indeed for certain tech titles: I have zero trust in its accuracy. Crazy shifts daily, with the same search parameters. Directionally you're correct, but conclusions based on Indeed are unreliable. ZIRP played huge factor too & led to distortions

@HungLee Don't think that thinking works because the harder the work, the greater the incentive to digitize/robotize it (soldiers, sunken ship recovery etc. come to mind here)

When thinking of AI's impact on jobs, think about what will be gained, not what will be lost. Think tractors vs ploughs. Jobs were lost, but new, better, and higher-paying jobs were created, many in new markets. We're in plough stage: we don't know what the better jobs will be.

@randomrecruiter Jevon's Paradox proves otherwise. We have no idea what new technologies & applications will result from AI. The combustion engine replaced the horse but led to new applications that were unimaginable at the time. AI's impact on space travel alone will create millions of new jobs
