The Sixers really need McCain to be the floor general. Maxey is a scorer, but a floor leader, he is not. He is also not vocal enough to lead the #76ers. The locker room lacks a true leader.
@TheDunkCentral 76ers are a huge disappointment! Embiid is overrated. He has been on great teams and he can't win!! PG is washed as well. They need to build around Maxey. He's the best player on that team.

The Sixers need to give Maxey help. Maxey can be great in spurts. He is an entertaining player and a scorer. However, his style of play doesn't lead to consistent play. Maxey played too fast. When he has inferior competition he kills it. He needs to master play control. #76ers

@Bert02497787 I agree, twice in the biggest stage as a HC has Kyle gotten completely outclassed. And this is not only a similar theme in the Super Bowl but whenever he has to go against a defensive scheme that plays his team like Spags.

Also, you have to consider the competition level. Today's QBs have all the advantage. Montana played in an era where d3fenses were allowed to do more and he played against some of the most elite defenses, Giants, Bears, Redskins, Vikings and Eagkes with Reggie White and Co.
@Bert02497787 Yeah, okay, Joe Montana was perfect in the Super Bowl - that is, provided he and the 49ers (and for two seasons, the Chiefs) made it that far. He played 12 seasons in the NFL. In two, he didn't even make the playoffs and in four, his teams were one-and-done in the first round.

If Joel needs another major surgery on his knees that will possibly make him healthier moving forward, why don't the organization, allow him to have that surgery to allow him to be back and ready for training camp? See what other players bring to the table. #76ers

He a real Chiefer. The bumps and lumps lead to calluses that strengthen an individual. He'll be okay. Winning, spoils a person. Younger fans of teams that haven't won anything, won't know about this. Us older #49ers fans, are hard on Jed, Kyle and John. We EXPECT GREATNESS!

@BrianNiners46 @NinersNation Not identical but the 49ers defense in both games held KC to 10 points or less well more than halfway into the third quarter or heading into the fourth quarter. Difference was essentially with what the teams did with the TO’s, Philly scored off of them and SF didn’t.

NOTE to Stephen A. Smith: Patrick Mahomes has led the Chiefs to 7 AFC championship games and 5 Super Bowls in 7 seasons; Joe Montana took the 49ers to 6 NFC title games and 4 Super Bowls in 9 seasons. Mahomes is 17-4 in postseason games. Montana was 16-7.

Yes they were, especially the Niners. Of course in today's world with the social media explosion and the Internet, things may be a bit more extreme. But a lot of fans from the other teams expressed their displeasure with my #49ers back in the day.
Question for the older NFL fans: Were the 49ers and Cowboys dynasties of the 80’s and 90’s as hated as the Patriots and Chiefs?
