@DC_Draino They were making 1.25 an hour in 1964 which was minimum wage. But that was 1 once of silver in 1964. 1 ounce of silver is $30 an ounce today. So our money has inflated where minimum wage would be 30$ an hour today. The short of it is inflation has rose much faster than wages.
