I think that creativity is a feeling that combines curiosity and optimism that can bubble up into experimenting and making! I am not always sure how my projects will turn out but my willingness to try seems to align with how hopeful I feel.

I am using the dirt in my backyard to form concrete furniture! It’s fun and only required a few basic tools. I rinsed the local dirt to get sand and just added $45 of Portland cement

I built a garden inside a wardrobe and turned it into a desk. LED lights allow me to grow real 🌸s I made this a few years ago as an experiment but now I might revisit this idea because suddenly having a little bit of “nature” indoors seems useful and healthy.

I have been experimenting with broken glass and

epoxy resins. The glass reduces the amount of epoxy needed and acts as a heat sink allowing me to do deeper pours. I tested out my new

variable speed polisher which is making epoxy finishing a lot easier.
