@BrockBrowett911 @CritCareMed Definitely a tough balance! Our data would suggest SGA better in terms of time to placement + ROSC, so could argue SGA first line. But low FPS rates for intubation - we probably need to bring more VL into the pre-hospital setting to improve FPS. No data on VL v SGA yet.

@CamLeafloor @CritCareMed Unfortunately, there is still a scarcity of data on what do when someone comes in to ER with SGA in-situ with ongoing CPR. Does it need to be replaced with tracheal tube? If so, when? Still another area where research required @SameerSharifMD

@EM_phile @SameerSharifMD What wasn't studied, and may be in line with your observations, is whether ketorolac is more effective than other analgesics depending on the underlying pathology. Anecdotally, I find ketorolac quite effective in patients with renal colic as well!
