London Winter Gold, 100x80cm, Acrylic and 24carat gold leaf on canvas SOLD 🌟✨ Excited to share my latest piece, “London Winter Gold”! 🎨✨ I really enjoy depicting the London skyline, where the old and new architecture create such a stunning contrast. From the historic Tower of London to the modern Gherkin, you can really feel the city’s rich history as you walk around which makes London so unique. This painting was exciting to create live in front of an audience at the fabulous Green Room event at The Oval. On a chilly February Monday morning and now afternoon, I hope this piece brings a bit of warmth, with its gold accents adding a touch of warmth and also capturing the winter sun which I find at times casts a golden hue. Incorporating real platinum leaf and various precious metals, I’ve aimed to capture the sophisticated palette of a winter scene—definitely a challenge for me being an artist that uses lots of bold colours, hopefully Ive achieved my goal of capturing winter in London! I always enjoy translating the unique shapes and patterns of London into my own style. Rest in peace Denis Law, a true gentleman and great of the game. Was superb with me when I met him and completed my first ever live painting which happened to be for Manchester United, and Denis was one of the players I painted that night. I was so nervous, but the encouragement and support he gave me was outstanding. A true legend. I was honoured that | had the privilege of meeting Denis, a memory l'll never forget.
