@tidalmooon @Coombs_A Hold on, we weren't exactly setting the world on fire when salary caps were £7.2m! Now we are meant to get excited by gradual incremental increases to £6.8m.... by 2029! The public might have lost interest by then.

@tidalmooon @Coombs_A Those 4 teams weren't woefully underfunded as they are now and were able to attract marquee overseas players - and they still couldn't make a significant impact in Europe's top tier competition, the Heineken Cup.

@InterestedChap @tidalmooon @Coombs_A Wales has a long track record of emerging qualified talent being developed in English academies and clubs, this can be utilised better once the 25 cap rule goes, and as @Coombs_A said our focus then should be on a high quality premiership to produce the talent for 2 regions.

@tidalmooon @Coombs_A When you recall the times when the regions had some degree of success they had a few marquee overseas players i.e. Rush, JC, Holah, Tiatia. Obviously it has to be managed carefully like the IRU do, but it was the genesis of the golden generation.

@tidalmooon @Coombs_A It's fairly simple. Two teams with a salary cap of circa £10m could compete and produce players at the higher echelons of European rugby vs four teams with salary caps of £4.5m that have achieved absolutely nothing in the champions cup in 20 years 🤷🏻♂️

@Coombs_A Completely agree Andrew, although I'm not sure about sacking Gatland right now, let's face it, he just doesn't have the pool of players competing week in week out at the required level, which is a failure of the WRU and regions.

@thepaulwilliams He'll see the end of the 6 nations but unfortunately the talent pool from the regions just isn't there right now. It's a big ask for anyone.

@JimmyGilbert03 @NinianMod Yes, finally forced to resign but not before destroying the country and the economy with his hysterical nonsense.

@XPCBirmingham @LeeHurstComic And came out fatter than when he went in! Absolutely never bought that one. The whole Matt Hancock caught on a camera hidden in a smoke detector kissing was a bizzare and obvious psyop to change the Health minister in order to perpetuate the lockdowns and jabs IMO.

@ClwydEnComu @perilousbanana @AWumman @NinianMod Offshore wind that often generates zero electricity and requires the energy grid to operate 🤦🏻♂️
