Seamus Finegan, Deputy Headmaster, announces retirement at the end of August after 36 years at Belvedere. He will be sorely missed by staff, students, parents and alumni and we wish him well on this next chapter of his life.

It is with the deepest sadness that we share the news of the death of our esteemed Brother Eamonn Davis SJ.
Funeral details will be shared when known, but provisionally next Monday and Tuesday with funeral mass from Gardiner Street Church.

Today, we have our final, online Assembly for Rhetoric 2020. We wanted to mark the day as it would have been their Graduation. We look forward to commemorating the special day this afternoon AND to the great celebrations we will have when we can once again gather in the College!

Belvedere are now the Gael Linn Irish Debating Leinster Champions! Well done to the team and a sincere thank you to their Irish teachers for instilling a 'grá' for the Gaeilge in them. The team will take part in the All Ireland Final on 27th March. We wish them the best of luck!

Three of our debating teams qualified for Oxford Union Finals Day, the biggest debating competition in the UK. 32 teams tried out and only four teams made the break, three of which are from Belvedere. Finals Day will take place Saturday, 9th March in Oxford. Well done to all!

Congrats to Daniel Bisset who made through to the National Finals of Junk Kouture in April. He was selected in the top 16 from over 90 entrants at the Dublin Regional Finals. Daniel created this work entirely outside school time which has taken great commitment & dedication.
