The line "mistakes are not crimes." A mistake is making a bad blood test machine, a crime is lying about it to investors, partners and actual patients whose diagnoses depended on those tests.

And the very irritating, obviously for the camera question of "what does that mean" in response to the officers comment of disorderly conduct, after watching them overturn tables.
Thinking Penn State needs to revisits their admissions standards.

Reparations. The transfer of wealth from those who did nothing wrong to those who did not earn it because of what someone did 150 years ago. Did I get that right?

The masks tell it all.
The tuition at Vanderbilt is $62,000 per year. The thought of my children spending time on this meaningless protest instead of maximizing my payout would mean an auto cancellation of their enrollment.
We are seeing increasingly illegal protests wrought by Climate Change and anti Israel activists. We explore the rights around protests, the nature of free speech, and its history.

Hamas was not the first group to sow terror in the Middle East. In Medieval Times a group of fanatics ruled by fear. Learn how the Mongols defeated them, and lessons we can learn.

Diversity myths of our time: greater presence of women in government would advance women's rights. So today we have the Squad, almost entirely composed of women, supporting a group who believe women are 2nd class, against a nation that had a woman leader 50 yrs. ago.
@TitaniaMcGrath
But the good news is women are doing much better in sports like track, swimming, and weightlifting. At some point they might even do better than a man!
@CNN
I can write her speech.
"Africa, which is a place where Africans reside, has continental wide issues, because it is continent. Ghana is a place in Africa where Africans call themselves Ghanaians, and are part of Africa as well."
Very weighty.
The answers are simple, but getting their will require focus and dedication:
1. Smaller government-out of businesses, out of the schools, out of personal lives
2. Foreign policy and a military that accounts for evil in the world
3. Personal code to be decent to one another.
@amychozick
And sorry, the "she had to act that way and do bad things because, you know, female start up?" In a world with Sara Blakely, Anne Wojcicki, Lori Greiner, Kendra Scott, Whitney Herd, Emma Grede, etc. that is disingenuous.
@mcbyrne
Behind every student loan forgiveness is someone who is breaking a contract freely entered AND someone who paid their loans, paid their taxes, or never went to college.
@guypbenson
I always like it when politicians cite the "American People" as Trump does here. So the 81 million American People who did not vote him or those millions of Georgians who voted for Warnock and Ossoff are not in fact American People?
@JesseKellyDC
The poor downtrodden Michelle who went to those working class schools, Princeton and Harvard and made a quarter of a million as lawyer, but was not proud of the nation that provided these opportunities.

Obama could not resist. He loves the fact that no matter what happens, his VP will not upstage him. Needs him.
Obama's intellect is overrated
His cunning is underrated
And the overwhelming sense of his arrogance is about right

A woman would want a baby for many things; experience motherhood, build a family, an expression of love.
So why do I think she had one for sympathy with a jury. Given her past, this disturbing thought may be the case.
More people were killed in Stalin purges and Mao's Great Leap Forward than in Hitler's Holocaust.
One million died under Pol Pot in Cambodia in the 1970s.
The murederous regimes in Angola and Cuba killed far more.
This is madness.

Cooper seems to have found article 361 of the Constitution that I (and every scholar under the sun) seems to have missed.
But here is the real article: "If SCOTUS makes rulings upon which I disagree, thou shall remove offending Justices."
Check out my interview on Jeff Mayhugh's Politics and Parenting Podcast. We cover history, parenting and the duties of a modern president (hint, the current holder of that title is not up to the job).

I feel like this is the younger version of the fictional Dolores Umbridge or the real world Liz Warren. Absolute certitude with a veiled warning.
Aside from the inanity of the truth comment, common ground for progressives is always THEIR common ground.
@kylenabecker
That does not support their point. If two people rob a bank, and one of them got away, and the other did not, it does not make the one that got caught innocent.
@sfmcguire79
Do not like this framing. Not about protests or camping but violation of code of conduct which all students signed.
And remove the diploma as well. I have said for weeks. Expel, deny the degree and all the goodies that come with it, and this will end in a few hours.

Not certain it is wise to show too many photos of a fetuses. People may get the impression that these are human beings whose life is being terminated.

Last I checked I am part of the world. I stand against the murder of women and infants as happened on October 7. I stand against calls for the eradication of Israel. I see women as equals and I stand with gays believing they should not be murdered for being who they are.

We lost 7,000 marines on Iwo Jima. A relatively small island defended by 20,000 Japanese soldiers. There were nearly 2 million Japanese under arms in the Home Islands.
Perhaps Hannah-Jones is aware of these facts. I have my doubts.

Between all of the false arguments around apartheid and colonialism and stories like this it shows that pro Hamas arguments are based on half truths and innuendo
@Locati0ns
The Roman Republic lasted 600 years and was followed by Imperial period for 400, and Byzantine for another 1,000. Mongols about 200. Oversimplification of course, but timeline.
Also Roman impact on our society and culture. Hope the below may help.
@TJMoe28
Yesterday we had a member of Congress drop a profanity laced diatribe aimed a political entity.
Is this an attempt to seem authentic? To show how genuine one is because it comes across like a 13 year old boy showing off to his friends.
@RepCori
Alito has been on the bench since 2005. Thomas much longer.
Funny how this stuff came up only after the con majority was achieved and the rulings went against the left.
@joncoopertweets
This is of a piece of the Thomas is corrupt (!) blather. Funny how the legitimacy of SCOTUS was never in question as long as SCOTUS made decisions the left, like Cooper here, liked.
@theblaze
Bush was the worst. No it was Trump. Now RDS gets the treatment. The question is why we would care about what a random stage actress has to say about politics to this degree?
@nytimes
A dam DISASTER? Thinking it was after a dam was destroyed. Then employ cui bono. Who benefits more? Just maybe the side that delayed the Ukraine offensive, ruined more infrastructure, and killed more Ukrainian civilians.
@guypbenson
I thought Trump derangement syndrome was about lying and ego. I had not idea that Trump had godlike powers to prevent disease, but choose not to. I think now I had better vote for him because I do not want to anger a god.
@TitaniaMcGrath
I am old enough to remember when charges of racism were leveled at the Tea Party rallies of the early aughts. The sheer lack of any documentable racist comments at these events was most certainly proof of racism.
Like Rowling, playing chess instead of checkers.

What happens to South American nations such as Venezuela, Argentina, and now Colombia, showing success with moderate economies, always turning leftward. How did that work for their next door neighbor??

Wow. Gift exchanges. We have a border crisis, inflation, cannot put necessary supplies on the shelves, the highest debt to GDP in peacetime, and China threatening Taiwan. Bravo Times - All the News Fit to print INDEED.

Curious about that stat. Do you mean directly or in any way. Many pension funds hold stocks meaning the pensioner indirectly benefits (on loses) with exposure ot the market.
@EricAbbenante
Comey is one of the most smug, self-satisfied vain glorious figures in American politics. And note the intentional use of that term for law enforcement seemed secondary.
Ironically his Oct. actions in 2016 might have sealed the election for Trump. Oops.

Wondering how many relatives of those people in nursing homes, with whom he quartered COVID patients, feel the same - especially with the inanity that was a feature on his brother's show.
@JerryDunleavy
I like the "you" enslaved our ancestors. I am certain I do not currently own slaves and as a conservative, oppose slavery on principle. But I also lack a time machine to go back and own them. If I had such a device I would go back to 2000 and buy lots of lots of Apple.
@baseballcrank
This would be an excellent response if she were remotely interested in factual history. The 1619 Project was not that. It was propaganda to perpetuate a narrative and constitute new financial opportunities.
@ATRightMovies
Aside from maybe Snake Plissken there is only one:
The driver of the Porkchop express
The guy with amazing reflexes
The guy who can take your best shot
Do I even have to say his name?
@jelani9
He wound up dead on a street corner because a terrible cop did a horrible thing. Spin it all you want into some great systemic thing. There are 600 THOUSAND police officers in the United States. If this were "systemic" we would be having a different convo. Ban CRT.
@AlexNowrasteh
This is not like Bill in Detroit going to the Ford plant. We either have borders or not. If I want to go to Toronto I need to ask for and receive permission.
I think we need immigrants but a controlled immigration is the answer, not this.
@FoxNews
ESPN always featured personalities but Sports Center, etc. was the bigger than the hosts. Things change which is why this, or Pat McAfee. Aside from desperately trying to make the WNBA happen, ESPN is now really just a podcast with some updates thrown in.

Trying to imagine the undergrad who says she likes Shakespeare and as the sociology majors begin to tie her to a proverbial stake and gather the firewood, this guy starts looking for matches. Among his many impressive words (supercilious!) tolerance and humility are foreign.

The candidate not in race is the equivalent to football fans thinking their back up is better than their starter, unless one lives in the KC area.
A few names that should give pause:
Scott Walker
Fred Thompson
Bill Bradley
AND Rudy Giuliani
all were coveted as candidates.
@Telegraph
If these two are the A Listers, then I am trying to imagine what the B List looks like?
The lead in Oliver! in the Catskills?
The part of Mary Poppins on a shipboard cruise?
The sassy best friend in a rom com?
@nytimes
How did the Times get from an IRS lead agent (Shapley) to "House Republicans said." A blatant and crass attempt on the part of the Times to make this compelling testimony about the GOP.
This is about whether Hunter Biden got special treatment-again.
@ChelseaClinton
@JoeBiden
@WhiteHouse
This sounds absolutely plausible. This is the age when most kids watch Teletubbies and Caillou but this little dickens is politically savvy just like granddad. The veracity of this tale is on a par all of the stories surrounding this family.
@MarinaMedvin
I try to avoid what aboutism but we all know if this had come from someone in a MAGA hat it would be at the forefront of a least 6-7 large scale leftist media platforms.
@neontaster
This is not rocket science but it is math.
1) Hunter was hired by entities such as Burisma for influence.
2) He had only one tool of influence
3) They would have dropped him if he could not deliver
4) They did not drop him
@realLizUSA
Win in California? That is a disqualifying statement in itself.
The last GOPer nominee to win California, albeit a different state than today, was HW Bush, a family the current GOP has disavowed.

It’s all about themselves for all of their talk of Palestine. This has nothing to do with the Middle East and everything to do with pampered, self absorbed, privileged narcissists

Old enough to remember when Mel Gibson was the arguably the biggest star on the planet. And not just on cop movies like Lethal Weapon or epics like Braveheart but massive rom coms like What Women Want.
He is now reduced to playing grumpy old men, even a mean Santa.

I really hate the "whataboutism" line of discourse but sometimes it is just too appropriate.

Two reasons Prestige movies fail: the producers/director/ writers live in a bubble where their circles think their views are wide spread because they do not leave the bubble 2) They have a need to "educate" the wider world on what they believe are absolute truths.
@FoxNews
If this guy was half as good as thinks he is, why couldn’t he fix it? He published a book about himself called the promised land as if he were Moses. If arrogance equaled accomplishment he would have been the most successful president in history
@danpfeiffer
It is well that Trump is his opponent.
Biden has been consistently lying since his 1st presidential run in 1987. At least then he was lying. Today I am not certain he knows the difference.
@FoxNews
The cad! How dare he say that citizenship in this Republic should actually mean something!
Sarcasm aside wondering how all of those who seem to love other countries so much more would fare in those nations as they wandered up to let's say French voting booths.
We look at demographic trends today and fertility issues in history. Do we need less people or more? We make the case for the latter.

I have been seeing this for a while which leads to the logical conclusion to no longer separate sports leagues. No WNBA, LPGA or WTA. If that happens, especially in individual sports, a biological woman will never win a tournament again.

Agreed, our education system is already mediocre. And until we curb the power of the public teacher's unions and the stranglehold they maintain over public education, this will not change.
