@Msg4Eu @implausibleblog Govt creates new £s into existence whenever it spends. These £s enter the economy, some are taxed out with every transaction. The rest swills around until it gets to you, then you pay your taxes back to the place it came from & that money is deleted. It's never 'taxpayer money'

@CarlMalkin6 @unojen_wood No, that's not how it works. Tax is previously-issued £s returned to govt and offset against that day's new govt spending. A net govt overspend = govt deficit = non-govt sector surplus. The govt of the day decrees how much SP & benefits are paid out; working people don't pay them

@bbcnickrobinson @elonmusk This is the point; he's got this out there to his mahoosive reach before the actual truth comes out, by which time the disinformation has spread like a virus with its antidote in perpetual catchup mode. Disinformation on disinformation

@StokeyyG2 It's good but it's not Nwankwo Kanu vs Chelsea good, when at 2-0 down the Nigerian striker scored a hat trick in the final 15 minutes to win the game for Arsenal, the last goal of which defied the laws of physics
