In the last few days, three Lower Mainland children under the age of five have either been killed or been placed in imminent danger of death or serious bodily harm. These are called “critical incidents” and weigh heavy on first responders.

@IRPlawyer @VancouverPD Not sure how this is disgraceful conduct when there are any one of a variety of reasons they drove like this. I, too, have done this on several occasions - lights and/or sirens to clear an intersection, then speed limit after that. It all depends on the situation.

Headed to a gun call when I got passed by a speeding motorist. What the… With no time for a #heresyourcoupon moment, I pulled in front and flipped on the red & blues. It worked. They went from warp speed to legal. If only it were always so easy. #VPD #RoadSafety

I was in a parkade recovering a car when a golf cart with a flashing yellow light came rolling slowly up the ramp and around the corner toward me. Inside, the serious security guard was a septuagenarian, dapper in his red coat and styled white hair. #VPD #TheySeeMeRollin
