A Missouri law declaring some federal gun regulations “invalid” is unconstitutional because it violates the U.S. Constitution’s supremacy clause, a federal appeals court in St. Louis unanimously ruled on Monday.

Another Andrew Bailey loss, he is now 0-85 in cases as Attorney General. This 85th loss is a record, previous record of 84, 83, 82, 81 and 80 is also held by him. He is the Katie Ledecky of losing cases.
Whatever Musk is trying to hide that was going to come out in the Delaware court is apparently worth spending at least $43,000,000,000 to keep it hidden.

A refugees journey, a thread.
We left Serb controlled Bosnia in the middle of the night,paid off guards at checkpoints to let us thru to a town where buses were leaving for a refugee camp in Hungary. As we were approaching the border sirens were going off with bombers incoming/1
Wainwright Building has sold for $8.4m after the state put it up for auction with the starting bid at $5m. Built in 1890 and at the time was one of the early skyscrapers in the world. Next up: apartment conversion

Well it looks like that House GOP has settled on a strategy to lower inflation; spend $30,000,000 of your money to tell us that an admitted drug addict was indeed a drug addict. Price of lettuce next year will plummet to a nickel.
Since 1779, 243 years old & if the City doesn’t start investing to maintain it we won’t have it for 250th anniversary. From small businesses to customers this is the most diverse part of St.Louis and one of the best things about STL. It needs help
@saintlouismayor
Congratulations to
@MarcCox971
who went an impressive ZERO for 13 in school board endorsements across St.Charles and St.Louis County. Seems like people have had enough of lunatics and their cultural wars destroying education
people want to help but dont know how, here is a important way; these kids will be in school with your kids, tell your kids to be their champion & befriend them. Share the American culture w/ them & learn about theirs. Kids that did that for me are my best friends 25 years later

Missouri has 114 counties and an independent City of St. Louis....of those 115, only 4 voted for Biden in 2020 and those 4 are responsible for 44% of Missouri's economy.
That dumbass that finished 7th in MO GOP primary for Secretary of State is now apparently leading a caravan of idiots to North Carolina to go to war with FEMA. What a country.
How I would spend the $790m
3 year / $105m for Scherzer
10 year/ $350m for Correa
6 year / $175m for Ray
5 year / $100m for Stroman
$60m left to be used for the Loop Trolley

As a Bosnian who came here in the 1990s I am SHOCKED that another immigrant group is being blatantly lied about when it comes to eating dogs and cats. These bigots are a one trick pony.
Folks, this shouldn't be complicated.... connect Clark to Arch grounds with a pedestrian bridge and built two new towers at 629 feet each and connect them with an observation deck that includes a pool.
The Supreme Court's first decision of the day is Murthy v. Missouri, the social media "jawboning" case. By a 6–3 vote, the court holds that the plaintiffs lack standing.
Big win for the Biden administration. Another loss for the 5th Circuit.

What if…and just hear me out here….we swing one of the Arch legs over the Mississippi River and become the Gateway to the North. What do you think
@GatewayArchSTL
pay it forward with the Afghan refugees in the coming months.We all should. You will be part of someone’s life changing transition. Int. Institute has a playbook that will help them but their experience here will be shaped by people they meet, help them.
From vacant for over a decade to this…..a lot of credit goes to former Alder Page for getting this over the finish line. Soon to be home to over 600 residents.
So instead of waiting for someone to talk about it, I got BPV/Cards, Blues, City SC, Sports Commission, Union Station, and a few other stakeholders to meet and start the process. The first meeting is tomorrow
Clark connects Busch/Ballpark Village, Federal Court House, City Hall, Enterprise Center, Civic Center (metro/amtrak, Union Station and CityPark….why isn’t anyone talking about making it a Great Street/Complete Street

Talked to someone today who went full time work from home and decided to move here last June from Denver because it was cheaper, bought a house in south city and said biggest surprise so far was how much better food options are here than Denver
Missouri has decided to change the way it reports cases and deaths that now make it impossible to track it the way most of us have been doing it for the last 6 months...now they've added a 72 hour delay and its screwed up a lot of things. they're hiding how bad this as gotten
Afghan immigrants that are staying at a downtown hotel are grocery shopping at the downtown Schnucks, taking strolls are the Arch grounds, kids kicking a soccer ball around and all of it is reminds me of 25 years ago when we did the same thing & life just went on.
What did we learn about downtown from March til today with hundreds of thousands of people coming in for events? Its very safe, it needs more restaurants,its a place people want to be at & its a place that needs a huge public investment to make it a premier downtown. Lets do that
Berlin, Germany has 3.7m people and it’s the country’s Capitol. It has a GDP of about $155 billion. Metro STL has 2.82m people and a GDP of $172 billion, but we carry ourselves as some small town. Knock it off.
Downtown Metrolink should be free between Laclede Landing and Union Station during the work week from 11:00am-1:30pm. This was done pre 2009 to make lunch restaurants easily accessible without having to drive everywhere.
Remember that Saturday when 102,000 came to downtown for just sports and tens of thousands of others like residents, workers and visitors…..here is the crime data from that day
This is what “night” looks like. It’s like inside a tanning bed.
Btw, despite having all the spending data I was surprised how packed Clark & Bourdon, Katie’s Pizza, Salt & Smoke (20 person wait), and even Sports & Social were without anything going on tonight.
A man is in custody following a fatal shooting in Wentzville overnight. When we went out there hours later, blood still stained the pavement. More coming up at First Alert 4 at 5.
Re: mass shooting from last week… minor arrested for the homicide is from St.Ann and 5 victims were from the county. A lot of county people can keep burying their head in the sand but every city issue is a regional issue that can only be solved together
Why don’t we try something new for Washington Ave this summer, close it to east west traffic, leave open cross road traffic from Broadway to 14th and expedite liquor licenses for restaurants. Have regularly scheduled events, and markets.

Fact - Violent thugs don’t obey gun control laws.
Fiction - If we just pass more “common-sense” gun control laws then violent criminals won’t commit any crimes.
Fact - Any thug that shoots kids doesn’t give a damn about gun control laws & should be locked up forever.
