Apostle Joshua Selman's sermon today really emphasized the importance of pondering these meaningful questions:
"Who am I?" (identity)
"Where am I from?" (source and connection)
"Why am I here?" (purpose and destiny)
“What do I have?" (gifts, potentials, and abilities)
Just because you miss a person doesn’t mean you should reconnect or that they’re supposed to be in your life. Sometimes it’s okay to feel the emotions and just let it be.
This morning, Amos 9:13 resonated with me deeply. It declares a time is coming when crops will sprout quicker than they can be reaped, and grapes will ripen swifter than wine can be produced. The mountains will exude sweet wine; the hills will be awash with it. This is our prayer
Discovering your life's purpose can often feel like a chaotic game of hit and miss. It involves constantly exploring until you stumble upon your true calling. It might be tough, but the satisfaction you get when you're in tune with your destiny is priceless!
This year is a blessing from the Lord, I declare and decree that I'll rejoice. God has tailored this year to align with my interests, so His favor is upon my life. I feel refreshed and abundant like a well-watered garden.
Whatever happens around you, don't take it personally. Other people's actions are a reflection of themselves, not you.
Once you get this, you're less likely to be hurt by others' thoughtless remarks or actions.
Love is deeply personal. If your actions for others stem from your love for them, let it remain that way. The second you start expecting love in return due to your love for them, disappointment and resentment set in.
