Just a little update-> Daughter is off school for the rest of the week. We are home, but we haven't been told to evacuate yet. I'm doing ok.

Waking up and getting a good-bye kiss from hubby is the best thing to start my day. Guys, it's been years, and I love it. Being a wife,mom to a rotational worker isn't for everyone. I've been alone for many years, so I'm in a great place in my life now.

As much as I want to return to Newfoundland, I won't. You can't pay me enough to go through what I went to, being poor and struggling to keep up with bills, unless the living wage goes to being "living wage" it isn't worth the stress. I miss my mom,friends,family

We decided to just go to Disneyland for a week now. It'll be a surprise birthday gift to my daughter. I can't wait!!
I know parents take their kids out of school for a holiday. But I refuse to do it. Am I wrong thinking this way? School is more important.

I've went to the police of someone taking pictures of children at a splash pad last year, had his picture on my phone because it wasn't clear enough the police didn't call me back. I never returned to Bowring Park splash pad since. It was very scary situation.

So good news the surgeon told my mom won't need a mastectomy thank heavens.Possibly remove what's left of the tumor and a bit of radiation and chemotherapy. I'm so fucking happy right now I am crying while I'm watching Frozen 2.

Registered my daughter to her new school.
This feels so surreal now.

So, for those who wondered, I used to live on 23 St. Laurent Street. I've been there for 4 years until I couldn't deal with the landlord. I'm living with my mom for the rest of June, and I'm happy. My daughters breathing a whole lot better now.

I still have no doctor, but I did go to a walk-in clinic. I was seen by someone in a matter of minutes, and I was shocked. Got blood work done in a matter of minutes and booked an ultrasound next month on the phone.
