Bahrain is the most underrated country in this region honestly. It deserves more attention and praise. The freest and most relaxed country in the Gulf. A great nightlife but yet such a cultural country that has maintained its amazingly rich heritage.

Just to clear it up hummus is not part of Emirati cuisine as I see people jokingly fighting over who would make the better hummus haha. It’s part of Levantine cuisine. Though we do make them sometimes, traditional foods here were based around grains, dairy, meat and seafood
