On my way home tonight, I stopped at the store to pick up a couple of things and was in line behind a rough looking young man with just a few basics (bread, eggs, etc.) When the total came up, he realized he did not have enough to pay and looked so distressed, so I paid for his.

So proud of my daughter. ❤️ She is teacher of the year for her school and one of 12 finalists out of over 16,000 teachers in the county for Teacher of the Year. She goes above and beyond every day with her students. This child has never done anything halfway in her entire life.

Just discovered that my newly transplanted New York neighbors left a few days ago for a festival in NY. (Nothing to do with evacuating) They have tons of items left outside that can become projectiles - they also left their dog there alone. 😡.
