Today, Baxter lost his battle. He became very poorly very quickly and we had no choice but to let him go. He was in my arms, looking into his Dad’s eyes.

Had my dressing off today pals at the local vets. I’m a bit bruised, but the wound is looking good and I feel a bit more comfortable. In other news, I actually ate some white fish at 3pm feed, the folks were quite emotional, they’re just hoping I eat again at tea time 😬

Hi Baxter’s Mum here.
Today we had the worst news, Baxter has prostate cancer. It’s incurable and chemo won’t offer him anything so it’s about giving him the best 3-9 months we can and keeping him comfortable.

Pals, I am shocked. Guess where I have been for the last 45 minutes...... only locked in the garage!!! 😱🥶 Panicked the folks for a good few minute while they searched for me. Dad’s in the doghouse 😉

Pals, I’m now minus my gallbladder and spleen. Turns out my gallbladder was worse than they thought so good it’s gone. Lump on prostate could turn out to be an abscess or cyst, it certainly surprised the vets, so we wait for test results on that.

Well pals, I is home! Vets decided I was well enough so M&D collected me this afternoon. I still have a feeding tube for a few days in case I don’t eat and the folks have some liquid food and a bag full of meds to keep me going.

So pals, M had another call today from the vets. It’s been decided that I will be having surgery to remove my gallbladder and probably my spleen. They will then have a good look inside me and take biopsies of nodules of my prostate and maybe liver.

Well pals, I'm home, at least for now, until our vets open. I'm a bit spaced out, I've been on the good stuff 😉 Apparently I am an 😇 and a credit to my folks according to the nice lady emergency vet. We now see what happens next. Thanks again for your support

He gets his tube and stitches out on Friday so we are going to try and get him back to some sort of normal and obviously try and make the next months as happy and loved as we can.

Sad news today pals. My local BT furend who I met at puppy school unexpectedly went over rainbow bridge. She was a bit under the weather on Friday then had to go to emergency vet this morning, had a seizure and didn’t come home. I will miss you Betsie 😢

Pals, I am still at the specialist on fluids and pain relief waiting for the CT scan to be reviewed externally, we should know more tomorrow. I am being taken out for a pootle and a pee regularly and letting them know if it’s not regular enough 🙂. Thank again for the good wishes

We is sad today. We found out that little terrier pal, Boris, whose pawrents used to have a BT died in his sleep this week. They tragically lost their BT at quite a young age and Boris mended their hearts. He was an older fur and died sun puddling in his conservatory. RIP Boris😢

1/2 Well pals, I’m a bit poorly. Blood test results weren’t good, I’ve had an ultrasound and I have a problem with my gallbladder. I’m on strong pain relief and antibiotics and fluids and I’ll be spending the night at the vets.
