Today we've been observing your feedback about the recently introduced BMP-2 & M3A3 Bradley and we've made some early balancing changes which are live right now on Battlefield 2042. APFSDS-T Sabot Shells ▫️Max damage lowered from 28 to 25. ▫️Minimum damage is now lowered from 22 to 20. ▫️Rate of fire reduced from 150 to 140. Main 20MM Cannon ▫️Rate of fire lowered from 200 to 185. Frontlines Unlocked & Conquest Unlocked Our aim with these two modes is to have the ability for you to get behind the seat of these two vehicles while you're assisting your team towards the win. As such, we've disabled the choices within the Heavy Armor category to ensure these variations of the modes are available as created. More changes on the way! We are aware of other issues taking place with some of the recent additions, and we will be following up on them as we continue our investigations. Keep your feedback rolling!

Update 8.4.0 for Battlefield 2042 is now live. If you are currently in a session, you may need to restart your game to pick up the update. Your update notes can be found below!

In Update 8.4, you'll find a new XP event that recognizes the act of taking out another jet while airborne after leaving your aircraft. You'll receive 1337 XP and the "Fractal Reasoning" Playcard. This marks the first time the RendeZook has been officially recognized as an XP event in a Battlefield game! It goes to show that it starts with you when it comes to Battlefield - even the moments that continue to ripple through time from years ago to today. We salute you. 🫡🐧

Here's a side-by-side loadout example with the M3A3 Bradley that highlights the difference between Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield Portal variants. As a reminder, you can expect this to take place with Update 8.4 on January 21st!

On Wednesday we will be deploying a small backend change for #Battlefield2042 that slightly impacts what you may see in the store. We're calling this change out ahead of time as we know there are some of you that love sharing and discussing new weekly additions or rotations, and who may now spot some differences between them. For now, there will be one tile in the featured store that is populated with a bundle recommendation for you. These offer recommendations differ between players and are based on your playstyle and preferences, with the aim to show you things you may like and have missed. This does not alter the pricing of items nor does it feature any exclusive offers. Additionally, this change only impacts the featured store, all currently available offers can still be found in the catalog and the bundles section. See you on the Battlefield!

Update 8.2.1 is now live across all platforms and ranges between 700 mb and 1.5 gb depending upon your platform. You may need to reload the game to pick up the latest update if you have already been playing and are yet to receive it.
