@Nitrox204 @widmerkarl that argument from the BF3 days was just silly. the real problem is that the server trusts the client too much, that is why in Marvel Rivals a hack allows people shoot others through walls, the server doesnt care. in BF3 you could kill everyone by telling the server you did that.

@MrBattlefield0 @BF_Portal_Hub i'd be happy if we could just modify existing maps (move/add/delete assets). that way you could tune a map for a specific purpose like esports, clan wars, machinimas,....

@StatisticalyMeh @BF4NTOM The main problem was that 2042 changed directions 1 too many times way too late into its development process. I hope that there is someone in charge of the development of the next game who has a clear vision and everone in the teams is commited to work towards that vision.

@BF4NTOM It did not make it easier, but the main issue was that this game changed directions 1 too many times - too late into the development process. Past few titles have all lacked a clear vision for what the game wants to be - 2042 took that to the extreme.

@M1RMAZ01B yes I think I will soon share what has changed recently which allows me to return to making videos - but not sure yet if I will. I have some things to figure out and reevaluate before I decide if I make videos again or not.

@Dangerman1337 @SgtDangerCow with 64 players you can turn arround a match with your squad which feels awesome! with more players, you feel that your actions have no impact on the outcome of the match, causing players to care even less about the goal of the gamemmode.

@Dangerman1337 @SgtDangerCow question is which innovative gamemechanic that enriches the gameplay longterm requires more than 64 players. A larger map gets old quick, while it requires much more resources. A lot can be done to make the gameplay have depht and variety *again* while sticking with 64 players.

@Dangerman1337 @SgtDangerCow imo increasing the playercount past 64 players does not enhance the gameplay experience enough to justify the increased server & client load. I hope DICE goes back to 64 players and hand crafted/optimized maps, also maps specifically designed for the demands of certain modes.

@not_Loman Last 3 years have been tough, there wasnt much time for playing games. But every now and then I play some Helldivers and Overwatch with my son.
