That’s just straight up a lie. I never said that. Harmony and horror started as a fnaf fan game with puppets, a ventriloquist dummy, a marionette, a sock puppet, and a rod puppet. Ice cream man was apart of a different project that I just reused for the series. So was the clown.

I've noticed something between harmony and horror and poppy playtime and this is the proof: apparently they were inspired by ice cream man to make miss delight

Before I stopped using real people, I would just search 80s highschool photo. It was just the best way to get the results I was looking for back then. Now I just draw the faces or use my own face as a base.

I think hate is a strong word. I don’t hate the classic designs at all. I just like these newer designs more. “Primitive shapes” isn’t an insult. That’s what you call simple shapes that make up a model (like how Scott used a cylinder to make a button).

Same reason I don’t know the origin of the other photos. That’s a great idea actually, using stock photos. However I’ll keep doing what I’ve been recently, and that’s using my face or friends photos, even just photoshopping my face.

I’m happy to say that’s where the character design stuff ends, but the thing that started this hatred is the plot. H&H is about a toy maker who wants to enhance his toys using organic material (via killing people) to put inside the toys. Sounds familiar right? Weird…oh well. 4/4

Yeah there’s like a rule of thumb with eye placement, right? In this case I think it works to their favor to make it feel uncanny and off but that’s just my thoughts.

True, but I have a feeling Scott’s way of directing is what cost them their reputation for the game. Ruin and Help wanted 2 has made me believe they can make scary games with good story. Fingers crossed tho.

There is a lot of fatigue surrounding fan games and them being remakes of the first game, and we were well aware of that. It’s okay tho, because this is just a practice game to see if we can actually make a game. The appetizer basically. Not the main course.
