Partly true but they also need to change their tactics. More online presence, podcast appearances, grab headlines so they aren't ignored. Look at Reform they kick off about every news story even if it doesn't affect them, gets them headlines.
If the press gave the Green Party and Lib Dems as much coverage as Reform UK, voting intentions would likely shift significantly.

Good news! The Labour government are removing the requirement that adults over 19 have to get a Level 2 English and Maths (=GCSE pass) in order to complete an apprenticeship - a massive barrier in Tipton, Wednesbury and Coseley where 25% of adults don’t have those qualifications
