Yesterday our lovely Sue retired. She has worked at Batheaston Church School, mainly in Apple class, for many years. Sue has touched the hearts of so many children. We wish her all the best for future adventures. Thank you Sue❤️
Thank you to our whole Batheaston School community for this utterly beautiful video. We cannot tell you how much this meant to us. A special thank you to Cara who put this together along with some amazing helpers!
Today Oak class had an art day where we completed lots of different art activities inspired by our ‘Show me the Monet’ topic. One of the activities was sketching the pond. The class looked at perspective and drawing what they could see from where they were sitting. ✍️🎨🧑🎨
We are very proud to be named one of the winners of the Charlie Waller Trust well-being challenge 19. Batheaston Church School believe it is so important to look after our mental health and well-being. Look forward to receiving well-being books for our library

Welcome back everyone. The Batheaston staff are really looking forward to seeing you all. We have worked incredibly hard this summer to ensure that when you walk through our gates you feel excited, happy and safe xxx
We have some fabulous artists in Hazel Class - I love this tiger based on Andy Council art work and the landmarks in India - art and topic!
@AndyCouncil
A big thank you to Father Christmas for paying us a very special visit to meet the children of Batheaston. We know how busy you are but we loved seeing you 🎅.
We were really impressed with the children in Apple class today, they all demonstrated excellent control, poise and the ability to sequence a set of whole body movements in gym.
This morning Willow Class visited Batheaston memorial to hold a 1 minute silence to show their respect and appreciation for all the gallant soldiers who sadly passed from the local area during the wars.
Today’s well-being/PSHE focus in Hazel Class was ‘Gratitude’. The tree in our book corner has bloomed with gratitude blossom. We realised we had so much to be positive about

Thank you to all our wonderful Cherry Class parents - our newly painted and designed room is looking fabulous and ready to welcome everyone back. The outside space has enjoyed its refresh too!
In the hall today Willow and Cherry had many awe and wonder moments as we investigated what we found in the pond on the big screen! Thanks to Aleks for the amazing technology which made this possible - WOW 🤩
